ABOUT COFFEE
We have searched near and far to find the best specialty Indian Coffee. We’re really excited to be Austin’s only coffee shop fully focused on a South Asian experience. From our unique drinks to our coffee we bring you flavors and experiences that can’t be found anyhwhere else.
We’re here to bring Indian Coffee to the forefront of the coffee world. Just like many other popular regions India is a large producer of a coffee. We want people to experience the unique flavors and types that exist in a little known coffee region.
Our Story
With a passion for community and a love for gathering people together, the idea for the Dhaba Cafe came to fruition. As our world changed in 2020 we decided that if we couldn’t sit at coffee shops anymore and meet one another why don’t we bring one to the people. So came alive our small little 1974 Cushman Truckster serving up coffee and a good time.
While perusing the web on how to bring this alive we stumbled upon this Diamond in the rough. My wife was unaware of what I had discovered and I drove her to see it. After a few minutes and a few questions we sat in the car. She said we had to get it and over the past couple years we have worked with many people who started as strangers and have become life long friends. We were able to build our community with this little truckster. We hope you will let us be a part of your special gatherings and be part of your communities.
